Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark


I know I wasn't happy that he got casted as Peeta because he obviously doesn't look like Peeta is described in the book. But here is a fan made poster of Josh as Peeta Mellark. I'm still undecided. What about you guys?

    I was really mad when I found out( same with Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss), but I'm really warning up to this cast.

    Peeta is described as having ashy blond hair that falls in waves over his forehead, blue eyes, and a stocky build.

    I saw Peeta as this PERFECT guy and I dont know if Josh fits my expectation of peeta! But we'll have to see the movie !

    Jennifer is also perfect for Katniss!

    If you watch interwievs with josh he acts just like peeta does in the books so i think he will be a good Peeta :D

    1. he's my fav actor..
    2. his personality is why they basically casted him as peeta (my fav character. TEAM PEETA ALL DA WAY!) .

    I don't know about you guys but I am totally obsessed with Peeta!! I was wild about the Hunger Games and the boy with the bread way before I found out that they were making a movie, but after I found out about the movie, it has become the only thing I talk about. My celeb crush has always been Josh Hutcherson, but after I found out that he would be Peeta, I nearly fainted!! I JUST LOVE HIM!!!!

    I'm totally obsessed with Peeta and Josh Hutcherson rocks!I have a lways loved Peeta and the Hunger Games rock! What could be a more perfect combo?

    I agree, I hated the idea of Josh as Peeta but I watched the movie and was surprised, he played the role of Peeta extremley well and after seeing the movie I say they couldn't have choosen a better actor. His acting is flawless, he is Peeta. Blew me away how good he was so kudos to you Josh you deserve it
