Haymitch is described as paunchy and middle-aged in The Hunger Games. In Catching Fire, he is described as formerly being young, strong and good-looking 25 years ago when he won the games; his gray Seam eyes were bright and dangerous.
Personality:Haymitch is drunk and surly the majority of the time. Harsh and usually not understanding, District 12's hero is crude and unfriendly.
What do you guys think? My personal favorite is Jeffrey Dean Morgan end of story.
HUGH LAURIE all the way!!!!!!! Without a doubt, he is exactly how i pictured Haymitch. Plus, he played a vicodin addict for years on House, so who says he can't add being a drunk to his list! :)
